      With the economy in a nose dive it is easy to get caught up in worry. Many people are in financial trouble and almost as many have had their homes foreclosed on. It is a dire situation for everyone. However, there is a silver lining for some people. No matter the situation there is usually a way to make it work to your advantage.       Taking care of carpet, tile, and/or hardwood flooring can be a painstaking chore. Once a week I used to take out the vacuum and mop and scrub my floors for nearly two hours or more. It was very time consuming after all the food, crumbs, and spills that plagued the floors throughout the week. Today I have adopted a new policy that saves a tremendous amount of time and keeps my house looking fresh and clean. I vacuum and mop every single day!

      About fifteen years ago the old aluminum window frame was trumped by the new vinyl window frame. These newer windows are made using polyvinyl chloride (PVC). A company just starting out with residential window cleaning will run into these a lot. After all, vinyl and wooden window frames have over 70% of the residential market as of the year 2007. What most people don't know is how versatile these windows are and how easy they can be to clean versus the old aluminum frame.

      So you have your new home. It's brand new, just built, and you are ready to move in. The cleaning service came the day before to clean up after construction and you head out to look it over. As you walk in you suddenly realize they must not have shown up. Sure the windows are clean, the sawdust cleaned out of the cupboards, even the carpets are vacuumed. But everything is still dusty! The window sills are dusty, the counter tops are dusty, even the hard wood floor is dusty. What did they clean with, a broom with a dry rag draped over the end?
